To Langkawi in style

The FRAS flying club is organizing a long cross-country to Langkawi, from 29 April to 1 May.  I took part in a cross-country in December and while we didn’t actually make it to Langkawi, it was one of the most exiting adventures of my life.  If the route is the same, you will land in Kuala Lumpur, Subang, airport, in Penang and in Langkawi.  I experienced the first two airports and an “emerging” landing in Pangkor.  It was awesome.  I hope we will see many similar cross-country flights in the future.

To find out more you can call +6 07 5995290 or e-mail Julie at julie@fras.com.my.

It would be great of somebody who is going to participate could take pictures and write about their experience on this site!  I can help with the logistics.

  1. I love this blog! Keep on writing, sir! You are in Malaysia or Singapore?

    • I live in Singapore, but I fly in Malaysia. BTW: I have read your blog for some time and I “envy” you for your flying experience in Thailand and the Philippines. I will definitely keep reading your stories. You wrote the story about the Japanese fighter pilot, didn’t you? I hope I do not mix things up. Apologies if I do.
